VR platform work "Dream" will refresh the player's gaming experience
Remember the Dreams PS4 game? Back in 2016, when Media Molecule first announced their involvement in the PS VR Beta, fans were thrilled. However, since then, the studio behind such beloved titles like LittleBigPlanet has largely kept a low profile. Recently though, they’ve reemerged, putting many of their supporters' worries to rest.
During an interview with Glixel, Studio Director Siobhan Reddy shared some exciting updates regarding the VR version of this game. As someone who’s seen the game through extensive testing, her enthusiasm was palpable. She recounted how participants in the beta trials were genuinely impressed by the experience. “It’s incredibly rewarding to see invited players visit our studio and dive into Dreamland,†she expressed joyfully. “The dreams they create are showcased on the PS VR platform—it’s simply incredible. Watching others step into these worlds and witness the magic unfold leaves everyone eager for more.â€
Despite the positive feedback from the beta test, there remains anticipation over when this highly anticipated VR project will reach the public. Since Dreamland’s official announcement for VR support, nearly two years have passed without any concrete release date. While this may frustrate some players, it's easy to understand why Media Molecule might be taking their time. After all, given their history with games like LittleBigPlanet and Tearaway, which set high standards for creativity and quality, it’s clear they’re committed to delivering something exceptional. For now, fans can only hope that this dedication will soon result in a formal launch, ensuring another successful chapter in the Dreams saga.
