Ningbo was shortlisted for the 2017 smart manufacturing pilot project, winning with Hengsheng, Wanhua and Jianxin

Intelligent manufacturing has become the core direction of China's "Made in China 2025" strategy, and it has always been a top priority for the country. In 2017, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology announced the list of smart manufacturing pilot demonstration projects, and Ningbo made a remarkable achievement by having three of its projects selected. This marks another milestone in the city's ongoing efforts to promote industrial modernization. Among the selected projects are the "Jiansheng" automotive electronics intelligent manufacturing project, the "Wanhua" chemical production intelligent factory project, and the "Jianxin" automobile chassis intelligent factory project. These initiatives reflect the growing strength of Ningbo’s manufacturing sector and its commitment to innovation and technological advancement. The smart manufacturing pilot demonstration program, launched in 2015, aims to support the implementation of the "Made in China 2025" initiative by enhancing key manufacturing technologies and promoting industrial internet innovation. Successful projects from previous years, such as those from Cixing and Zhenhai Refining, have set a strong foundation for future development. Ningbo’s recent success highlights how local enterprises are leveraging the power of the industrial internet to drive intellectual growth. For instance, the Jiansheng project enables seamless integration across material handling, production, equipment, testing, and packaging. Workers input product serial numbers into the system, and the warehouse automatically handles raw materials. The system also supports automatic product testing and big data analysis, significantly improving efficiency and accuracy. As the global economy moves toward an "Internet + Smart Economy" era, characterized by cross-industry integration, Ningbo is well-positioned to seize new opportunities. The city is not only fostering the development of new industries and products but also accelerating the transformation of traditional sectors through intelligent upgrades. Recently, Ningbo released the "Three-Year Action Plan on Accelerating the Implementation of Technological Transformation of Enterprises." The plan aims to achieve full coverage of enterprise technological transformation within three years, ensuring that qualified companies undergo intelligent diagnosis and optimization. As the first city in China to be designated as a "Made in China 2025" pilot demonstration zone, Ningbo is committed to making intelligent manufacturing the standard for its enterprises. According to officials from the Municipal Economic and Information Committee, the city's progress in building a smart manufacturing ecosystem continues to strengthen. With sustained efforts, intelligent manufacturing is expected to become the norm, driving long-term growth and competitiveness for Ningbo’s industries.

Fiber Optic Cleaver

The fiber cutter is used to cut fiber as thin as hair. After hundreds of times of amplification, the cut fiber is observed to be flat before discharging the fuse.
The material of fiber is quartz, so the material of fiber cutting knife blade is required.
Adaptive fiber: single or multi-core quartz naked fiber;

Suitable for fiber cladding :100-250um diameter.
