I. Management Regulations According to the DL/T 572-2010 "Power Transformer Operation Regulations," it is essential to replace any damaged indicator lights or air switches in the cooling system as soon as possible. This ensures the safe and efficient operation of the transformer and prevents potential failures due to faulty components. II. Process Standards After replacing the damaged parts, make sure that all operations are functioning correctly. Inspect each section for overheating or unusual behavior to ensure everything is working within normal parameters. III. Work Procedure (1) Preparation: Gather all necessary tools such as insulated wrenches, screwdrivers, insulated wires, air switches, indicator lights, and multimeters. Ensure you have the correct replacement parts ready before starting the work. (2) When an air switch (knife gate) is damaged: 1) Use a multimeter to check the voltage on both sides of the fast-disconnect switch and the knife gate (refer to Figure 3-5-52). 2) Turn off the power supply to the upper part of the air switch. 3) Remove the wiring from the air switch using an insulated screwdriver. 4) Wrap the exposed wire ends with insulating tape and label the connections to avoid miswiring during reinstallation. 5) Install a new air switch or knife gate of the same type and specifications. 6) Reconnect the wiring, ensuring all terminal screws are tightened securely, then restore the upper power supply (see Figure 3-5-53). 7) Use the multimeter again to verify that the power is properly supplied to the air switch or knife gate. Only close the switch after confirming everything is working correctly. (3) When a fuse is blown: 1) Measure the voltage at both ends of the fuse using a multimeter. 2) Disconnect the power supply from both the upper and lower ends of the fuse or the incoming line. 3) Prepare a new fuse with the same capacity or type. 4) For tubular fuses, use the multimeter to test continuity before installation. 5) Wear insulated gloves and use an insulated clamp to handle the fuse or fuse tube. Install the lower connection first, then the upper one. 6) After securing the new fuse, restore the power and use the multimeter to confirm that the power has been restored successfully. (4) When an indicator light fails: 1) Check if the power supply to the indicator is working normally. 2) If the power is normal, inspect the lamp for damage or burnout. 3) Replace the lamp with a similar model or specification. 4) If there’s an issue with the power cable, disconnect the power and replace the damaged cord carefully. IV. Cleaning and Safety Precautions (1) Before performing any replacement, always verify that the working power is stable and safe to prevent accidents. (2) After completing the replacement, double-check that all components are operating correctly and without issues. (3) During the entire process, maintain proper safety measures, especially when dealing with low-voltage systems, to protect yourself from electrical shocks or injuries.
