**Renesas and Codeplay Collaborate to Enhance Automotive Computing with OpenCL and SYCL** On September 13, 2017, in Tokyo, Scotland, and Edinburgh, Scotland, Renesas Electronics Corporation (TSE: 6723), a leading global semiconductor solutions provider, and Codeplay Software Co., Ltd., a company specializing in high-performance compilers and multi-core parallel computing, announced a strategic partnership. The collaboration will bring Codeplay’s OpenCL-based software framework, ComputeAorta™, to Renesas’ R-Car System-on-Chip (SoC) lineup.
