On August 17th, Taiwan's panel Shuangxiong AUO and Chi Mei Electric were fruitful in the Guangdong Group Commodity Sourcing Fair.

Among them, AUO received an order of 135 million US dollars (Taiwanese billion) LCD panel from Guangdong Purchasing Group. Chi Mei also received a large order of 1.65 billion US dollars (HK$52.8 billion) from Kangjia, Skyworth and its subsidiary Nanhai Chimei.

In addition, Hon Hai received an order for optical products of US$150 million (HK$4.8 billion), and Zhongqiang Optoelectronics received LED orders of US$121 million (Taiwan 3.872 billion).
