As of April 2017, the US installed capacity of energy storage has reached 24.2 GW, accounting for nearly 1/3 of the global market.

James Biggins predicts that with the continuous decline in energy storage costs, the US energy storage market will grow 15 times between 2013 and 2023, and future market development will accelerate further.
