[Photo] TDA1521A power amplifier


The high-fidelity power amplifier IC TDA1521A is used to make the power amplifier circuit, which has the characteristics of few peripheral components, no need to debug, and it will ring when installed. Suitable for self-made, used for power connection of Walkman, or used to transform low-end computer active speakers.
The TDA1521A adopts a nine-pin single-in-line plastic package, which has the characteristics of high output power, small gain difference between the two channels, no impact sound of the switch speaker and reliable overheating, overload and short circuit protection. The TDA1521A can be powered by both positive and negative power supplies, or a single power supply. The circuit principle is shown in Figure 1 (a) and (b. When dual power supplies are used, two audio output capacitors can be omitted, and the sound quality of high and low bass is better. When single power supply is used The power supply filter capacitor should be as close as possible to the power supply end of the integrated circuit to avoid self-excitation in the circuit. The manufacturing block must be equipped with a heat sink to power on the sound test, otherwise it is easy to damage the integrated block. The heat sink should not be less than 200 × 100 × 2mm3.
