Emerging LED brands lack county-level market is still a virgin land

There are not many LED lighting companies, and there are not many “local tyrants”. Many unnamed brands are getting worse in the first- and second-tier cities where the LED market is becoming more and more mature. Many county-level and even township-level markets are still virgin land. Apart from several traditional lighting brands, the big brands there are still few tentacles, and the price advantage makes them survive in this market.
In the county-level market, the number of brands is obviously much less. The common traditional lighting brands such as Philips, NVC, Op, Jiamei, Sanxiong, Aurora, Osram, and Sidon are basically in every county.
Especially for some emerging LED brands, the county is even more lacking. Emerging LED brands such as Yiguang, Mulinsen, Fengguang LED, Wrigley LED, Qiyi, Guangyu and so on are almost impossible to find in most counties, only a few counties.
Gaogong LED surveyed 60 counties (county-level cities) in 20 provinces and cities including Liaoning, Shandong, Zhejiang, Sichuan, Fujian, Guizhou and Guangxi, and found LEDs of traditional lighting brands such as Philips, Foshan Lighting, NVC and Op. Products are more common in county-level markets. In the county-level market, more and more unknown LED products are available. In some lighting markets, even some merchants can't tell the brand of LED products as light sources. The price of this type of products is naturally much cheaper.
“The county’s consumption capacity is limited, there are only a few lighting stores, and dozens of brands are already good. This includes those small brands that are not well known. For example, Osram, the quality has been doing very well and the price is very high. Not many people can afford it, and generally go to work," said Osram dealer Deng Jinlin.
Traditional lighting brands have certain channel advantages and fixed customer base, and most of the county-level merchants have chosen “conservative” traditional lighting brands. When the reporter asked about Yiguang and Mulinsen, many dealers said that they had only heard of it, had no specific contact, and did not want to be an agent.
From the number of brands in several counties, traditional lighting LED brands account for more than 50%, and emerging LED brands account for less than 10%. The so-called "the waves of the Yangtze River push the waves", the emerging LED brands also have their own unique advantages, such as cost-effective and close to the people, dealers should know more and pay attention.
