Detailed classroom LED lighting design

Practical lighting tips for classroom lighting: For example, common classroom sizes: 10m long x 8m wide x 3m high:

Lighting recommendations:

1. Use light source: 2×28W, T5 fluorescent lamp, color temperature 4000K

2, desk lighting: grille lamp, with a cover bracket

3, special blackboard light: T5 fluorescent light source, 0.6 meters from the wall, and the length of the blackboard is continuously arranged.

4, the lighting distance: 2.8 ~ 3 meters

5, the layout direction: along the line of sight

6, control switch: independent control by a row of windows; front row of lamps independent control; blackboard lights are controlled by left and right halves

The arrangement of the lamps is like this:

Look at the analysis process again:

1, the light source

Why choose only the T5 fluorescent lamp instead of the hot LED light source?

1) The LED light source currently available on the market has almost the same effect as the T5 fluorescent lamp. Therefore, this method is also applicable to LED lamps.

2) Inferior LED lights may cause damage to the eyes. Especially teenagers often use light to read and write. The eyes are very dependent on light. Don't use inferior and low-priced LED tubes that don't know if they are safe. We have tested The high and low price of the same power LED tube color rendering, brightness, strobo, etc. are completely two concepts. In particular , the strobe of inferior LED lights is the biggest eye damage for teenagers when reading books and writing . Although it is invisible to the naked eye, it is not too small for eye damage.

3) Again, why choose 4000K color temperature instead of the most common 6400K on the market? It is also out of the eye protection for teenagers.

2, lamps

What is a grille lamp, a covered bracket, and a dedicated blackboard light? Please see the picture:

If you have money, you can also use semi-indirect lighting fixtures, the effect is better and taller! Please return to the top and look at the picture of the head, which is the effect of semi-indirect lighting.

Figure: This is a covered bracket, also suitable for ceilings without ceilings.

Figure: This is a dedicated blackboard light that can be used to illuminate the direction. It is recommended to be 0.3 to 0.6 meters away from the wall.

3, the spacing of the lamps

Why do you determine the spacing of 2.8m-3m? Because this spacing uses 2x28W T5 fluorescent lamps, the illumination is about 300~350 lx, which is in line with the national standard for classroom requirements of 300 lx.

We used the high-level DIALux evo software to simulate the lighting of this spacing:

Figure: DIALux evo simulation effect, lighting power density value of 9W / m2, in line with national standards.

4, the layout direction

Why do you want to look in the line of sight? Mainly considering the problem of glare, the glare of this arrangement is small.

5, control switch

Q: Why do you need to control independently by the window?

A: When you are in class during the day, you can turn off the lights around the window, make full use of natural light, and save energy!

Q: Why do front-end lamps need to be controlled independently?

A: Now the classrooms are equipped with projectors. When projecting, turn off the lights in the front row to see them clearly.

Q: Why is the blackboard light to be controlled by the left and right halves?

A: It is also the fault of the projector! Generally, the projection screen will be placed sideways, leaving the other side to write a chalk word for the teacher. At this time, just open half of the blackboard light.
