Termination

1) When the power connector is terminated, it should be terminated and inspected in strict accordance with the corresponding termination specifications or requirements, and terminated by the corresponding contact number. The maximum thickness of the insulation between the cables and conductors used should be matched with the distance between the contacts. The cable core and the terminals of the contacts must be matched. When crossing and merging between the contacts, multiple strand cores should be considered. Diameter, and it is forbidden to perform crossover and parallel processing between the contact crimping holes;

2) When soldering, select the appropriate power for the soldering iron based on the diameter of the bare wire.

Generally not more than 5s, it should be noted that the flux cannot be allowed to penetrate into the insulator, so as to avoid the decrease of the product's insulation resistance;

3) When cleaning the power connector (including cleaning of the contacts), use a silk cloth with absolute ethanol, and dry it for use. Chemical solvents such as acetone that have a detrimental effect on the power connector are not allowed;

4) When the power connector is in the non-inserted state, the protective cover must be capped separately or other dust prevention measures must be taken.

2, check before plugging

1) The model, code, serial number, plug position and direction of the power connector should meet the design and process documentation requirements;

2) There is no loosening of the tail cover and there is no shedding of the tie mouth;

3) The cable harness or wire of the tail cover mouth is not bent and the outer cover is not damaged;

4) There is no breakage in the shield grounding cable, and there is no loosening of the welding lug of the shell.

5) Power connector shell and interface should be no deformation, no cracks, no thread wear, no loose fasteners or defects, no loss of plating;

6) The locking device should be intact;

7) Power connector with sealing ring, seal should be intact;

8) No extraneous material is allowed in the interface (insulator surface, socket);

9) The pins and jacks should not be skewed or deformed;

10) The insulator surface at the base of the pin should not have cracked or bulging or detached metal chips;

11) The pins and jacks should not have obvious retreat or protruding phenomenon. Compared with the normal pins and jacks in the same plane, the exit or protruding distance should generally not exceed 0.5mm, otherwise the pins or jacks should be checked. Whether the hole is assembled or retracted;

3, plug-in operation

1) Before plugging, confirm the code of the plug and socket to be plugged in, the "shape" of the interface, the "positioning key and slot" at the interface, the "positioning color code", "locking clip and card slot", Is the "positioning screw and screw hole" consistent and accurate?

2) During the process of pushing in or screwing in the power connector, align the mating surface of the plug with the socket and align the cable or wire, and then push the lock sleeve gently into or slowly into position and lock it along the axis direction. . If it is found that the two mating surfaces are skewed, inaccurately positioned, and the feel is too tight to exceed the normal force or obstruction and other abnormal sensations, the operation should be stopped, pull outwards along the axis direction and carry out state inspection. 3) The tailgate outlet cable or wire cannot be turned when tightening the tailgate of the plug or socket;

4) When blindly plugging, it is recommended to use light and visual function devices (such as miniature cameras or endoscopes and monitors) to monitor the blind insertion process. Under the condition of no light and monitoring equipment, the blind insertion operation is performed, the corresponding features of the plug interface are to be clearly understood by the finger touch, and then inserted into the position and locked;

5) In the locking operation, if it occurs or finds that it cannot be properly locked, it shall be removed in time for inspection. After the inspection is correct, it shall be plugged and locked according to the provisions;

6) For the hard cable power connector, the cable should be fixed to prevent the cable from sagging and the power connector cannot be removed or damaged;

7) After the power connector is plugged and locked, the tail outlet cable should be kept in a naturally stretched state. The starting point of cable bending should generally be more than 30 mm away from the tailgate outlet. Unless otherwise specified, when bending, the inner bending radius of the cable should generally not be less than 4 times the outer diameter of the cable;

8) When plugging or unplugging the power connector, it should be grasped by its body for plugging and unplugging. It is not allowed to operate the cable or wire outside the tail cover.

4, test

1) When conducting cable or electronic equipment testing, the probe should meet the requirements, and it is forbidden to directly use the pen or copper wire to detect, to prevent the jack of the power connector from being enlarged, or damage the inner wall or touch the pin;

2) Before testing the connection of the power cable connector on the test cable and the electronic device, the power connector (plug and socket) on the test cable shall be inspected first, and any damage to the shape, corrosion of the pin (hole), or distortion of the pin should be checked. Hole deformation, dust pollution, wire breakage, and disconnection of shielded broken wires;

3) During the test process, the power connector must be plugged and unplugged. Generally, it should be performed after the power supply is disconnected for not less than 3 minutes.

4) After the model and product electrical performance tests are completed, if the power connector is not separated for a long time, the power connector shall be insured according to the requirements of the design and process documentation. The locking device of the power connector shall not be loosened during the insurance.

5, storage

The power connector should be stored at -10 ~ +40 °C, relative humidity is not more than 80%, there is no environment surrounding acid, alkali and other corrosive gas.
