1 Division of hotel lighting areas and requirements for intelligent lighting control systems

1.1 Division of modern hotel lighting areas

The modern multi-purpose hotel lighting area is divided into hotel interior lighting and hotel outdoor lighting.

Hotel indoor lighting is divided into lobby area lighting, office area lighting, suite area lighting, functional area lighting, and auxiliary area lighting.

Hotel outdoor lighting is divided into parking lot and parking lot entrance lighting and building floodlighting.

The main areas of Sheraton Hotel in this design are: 1st floor lobby, 1st floor Chinese restaurant/bar/cafe 2nd floor public area, 6th floor entertainment center, 7th floor public area, 7th floor banquet hall, etc.

1.2 Modern hotel requirements for intelligent lighting control systems

With the development of smart technology and its wide application in different areas of the hotel, it is far from enough for the lighting control system to meet the above requirements. Owners and designers hope that the hotel's lighting control system will not only meet the requirements of use, they also want to manage the scene changes, but also to manage and save energy. Specifically, there are the following:

a) The hotel should emphasize the first impression on the guests, and require an elegant and comfortable atmosphere to enter the hotel with a light and dark order and a moderate lighting environment.

b) The main functional areas of the hotel are: banquet halls, conference halls, multi-purpose halls, etc., which need different lighting effects to create different lighting environments.

c) Hotel management requirements to monitor the lighting of all public areas within the hotel.

d) Exterior floodlighting can bring out the grandeur of the entire hotel building to attract more guests.

e) The lighting consumption of the hotel accounts for about 35% of the total energy. It is required to save energy consumption through the control system.

f) The number of lamps in the hotel is high, high quality and very expensive. It is required to extend the life of the lamps and reduce the operating expenses of the hotel through the control system.

2.1 Hotel indoor area lighting 2.1.1 lobby lighting

The lobby is the only way for guests to enter the hotel. It is the first feeling of visiting the hotel. The selection and lighting arrangement of the lamps is not only for the needs of the lobby lighting, but also the lighting atmosphere and the coordination of lighting and building decoration. Being a five-star hotel lobby should provide guests with a comfortable, elegant and dignified light environment.

Make the lobby truly intelligent. The lighting in the entire lobby is automatically managed by the system. The system automatically adjusts the lighting effects according to the running time of the lobby and the brightness of the internal and external environment to achieve unmanned operation.

The touch screen is installed in the reception area of the lobby. According to various functional features of the reception area and different time periods, 8 or 16 kinds of lighting scenes can be preset. At the same time, the staff can also manually program, and can easily select or modify the lighting scene; User management mode is adopted, and different operation rights are set according to different users, for example: 4 sets of basic lighting scenes, which can be switched without a password, and other scenes require a password to operate; the editing and editing of the lighting scene requires an engineer or advanced The administrator's password is only operational.

The system makes full use of the natural light immersed in the glass curtain wall to realize automatic compensation of sunshine. When the weather is gloomy or the night falls, the large crystal chandeliers and main lighting in the lobby will gradually turn on automatically; when the outdoor is sunny, the system will automatically dim the lights. Keep the required brightness in the room and save more than 50%. Two brightness sensors are designed in the first floor lobby. One is placed indoors and one is placed outdoors. The brightness of the indoor and outdoor environments is compared to achieve automatic dimming.

Due to the use of the dimmer, it can effectively extend the life of the lamp by 2-4 times, which is of special significance for protecting expensive crystal chandeliers and lamps in difficult-to-install areas.

2.1.2 First floor Chinese restaurant, bar hall, cafe

Chinese restaurants, bar halls, cafes, etc. use a variety of adjustable light sources to maintain the softest and most elegant lighting environment through intelligent dimming. Four or eight lighting scenes can be preset separately, or manually programmed by the staff to easily select or modify the lighting scene.

Each function area is designed with a touch screen for managing the lights of a functional area, using the same floor lobby.

The lighting scene can preset 4 to 8 sets of lighting scenes.

The touch screen also has “fade-light” and “fade-out” function keys, which can be flexibly adjusted by the staff at any time.

2.1.3 Second floor public area

Guests enter and leave more time, open the lights of the public all loops, so that guests can enter and exit, the guests enter and leave less time, open the lights of some circuits, the lighting control in this area is concentrated in the relevant management room, and the staff controls the corresponding according to the specific situation. illumination. The operation can be controlled locally by the site or by a central monitoring computer, and time control can also be set.
